Dr. Krystal is a licensed chiropractor and acupuncturist who is passionate about serving the community in their journey to better health and quality of life. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Acupuncture  from the University of Bridgeport in Spring of 2020.

Throughout her graduate schooling, Dr. Krystal participated in various clinical rotations where she has had the privilege of helping hundreds of patients, from all walks of life, get out of pain and regain their sense of confidence. As a former collegiate track and cross country runner who has experienced multiple injuries throughout her running career, she understands how it feels to be in pain and not be able to participate in the activities that you love for a period of time. This has really brought on her passion to learn more about the body and how she can help people get back to their desired activities, with confidence, as soon as possible.

Dr. Krystal received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Dominican College of Blauvelt. After graduation, she spent most of that following summer shadowing various physical therapists, medical doctors, sports chiropractors and acupuncturists in order to better understand which field of medicine was the best fit for her. It wasn’t long before Dr. Krystal found that she was most intrigued by the sports chiropractor and acupuncturists way of getting patients out of debilitating pain, simply with a combination of conservative treatment and exercises. This is when her journey at the University of Bridgeport began.

When she is not treating patients, you can find Dr. Krystal dancing her heart out, as she is also a Zumba instructor! She also enjoys going on long outdoor runs, hikes and spending quality time with family.
